Terms & Conditions
We want happy customers that know what to expect from us - so before you order - please read carefully our Terms and Conditions. These general sales conditions apply to all trading relationships between Audio Housing S.C. with registered ID ESJ02888840 (we) and the customer (you) and comes into effect from the moment you accept and agree to these conditions by confirming and paying for your order.
Price, VAT & Shipping Cost
VAT is charged to individual customers residing in the European Union. VAT will not be charged on orders placed by businesses within the EU with a valid VAT-number or for orders placed from outside of the European Union. Shipping costs will be added to the total cost of the order, and is depending on the items ordered and to which country. We reserve the right to change prices displayed for products and services on our website at any time.
Taxes & Customs fees
Please note that any customs duties and taxes for orders outside of the European Union are the customers responsibility to pay and are not included in the total price. The taxes and customs duties are normally charged by the transport company upon delivery. In most countries it corresponds to the local VAT plus the additional admin fee. If you want more information on this, please consult your local authorities for import. We can supply the tariff code for the item in question.
Cancelations & Returns
You have the right to cancel your order free of charge up until we have shipped your item. To cancel your order please contact us via email and your payment will be refunded in full. Once we have made and shipped your furniture we do not accept returns. In case we are unable to fulfil your order for some reason, we reserve the right to cancel it and give you a full refund.
Delivery Time & Delays
We are a small business making furniture in limited batches and we make each piece of furniture on demand. We work with a monthly order list and ship once a month. When you order we email you an estimated delivery time, which normally is 3-8 weeks, depending on when in our production cycle your order enters. Delivery dates may be delayed due to reasons beyond our control. In this event, we will notify you and keep you informed about the situation. However, whilst we will do everything we can to achieve the stated delivery time, we can not compensate for delayed deliveries.
Delivery with FedEx / UPS
We work directly with FedEx and UPS for international deliveries. Once we have shipped your item and sent you the tracking number it is the responsibility of the customer, to be present to receive the delivery. Due to the high value content your signature might be required. If you cannot be present or have any other issue with the delivery, please contact UPS or FedEx directly to arrange a solution. Your package has full insurance, so remember to check the condition of the package when collecting it. In the event of damage or visible signs of wear and tear, please complete a damage report in the presence of the courier if possible, and otherwise immediately via email/phone. If the package is damaged please document it by taking photos of the package in its entirety (showing the address labels clearly). Save the box and all packing material and take photos of the state of the protective material and content as you open it. Also take photos of any damage done to the item or its parts, in detail and in its entirety. If the above instructions are not followed we cannot guarantee that the insurance will cover the damage, and we cannot be held responsible. In the event of need for replacement from us due to loss or damage that is covered by the insurance, please allow time for production and shipment as we do not carry stock.
Our products are made of wood which is a living material. This means each piece is unique and may differ slightly in grain and tone. We work with high quality plywood but please be aware that there might still be visible knots, smaller imperfections and colour variations in the wood which is normal. As a part of our manufacturing is manual there might be signs of the human hand on the wood work, and that is something we are proud of and that makes your specific item special.
Liability for damage
If any item arrives with damage, please notify us immediately. If you have accepted a damaged package without filing a report with the transport company we cannot be held responsible for any damage on the item. We supply instructions for how to unpack and mount the item carefully, and cannot be held responsible for any damage made during unpacking or assembly. If there is damage to a piece that clearly comes from manufacturing or poor packaging, please document the damage and packaging, contact us and we will offer a suitable solution/compensation. If a damaged piece needs to be returned for reparation or replacement we cannot compensate for loss of time or delay.
Please read through and follow the supplied assembly instructions when mounting your item. If you have any doubt or problem during assembly contact us for assistance. We recommend being two people to assembly the larger items to avoid damage. Be advised that some basic tools such as mallet/hammer and screw drivers may be required for mounting the item and are not included in the package. The specific tools needed are stated on our website and in the assembly instructions. We cannot be held responsible for damage made during assembly or by not following the suggested steps and recommendations in the guide.
Fit & Measurements
The measurements of our products are stated on our website. As part of our manufacturing is made by hand, some minor differences might occur. Please double check that the equipment you plan to use with the item fits within the given measurements. If you have any doubt contact us for further information. It is the responsibility of the customer to check the measurements and make sure their equipment will fit and we can never guarantee a fit or be held responsible if it does not fit.
If anything is missing in your package please contact us immediately stating the missing part and we will supply it without any additional cost. In case of this being a wooden piece, please allow additional time for production as we do not carry stock. If your entire package goes missing please report immediately to UPS or FedEx for the insurance to cover the loss. In the event of need for replacement due to a lost package covered by the insurance, please allow time for production and shipment as we do not carry stock.
As long as we are able to access third party products we are willing to supply spare parts for a cost price, plus the current shipping fee to your location. If the spare part is a wooden piece, please be aware that the colour and tone of your item might change over time and that the new piece might vary in colour tone and grain from the older wood.
Personal Data Protection Policy
Audio Housing takes privacy and security concerns seriously and it is important to us to ensure your personal data is protected when ordering from us. When you place an order with us, we process information about your name, address, e-mail address, phone number and possible company information if you order as a business. The purpose of our collection of data is to fulfil your order and we do not sell or share your information with anyone else except the partners we use to fulfil your order, such as the delivery company. Once we have delivered your order we delete all information from our registry except your name and email address which might be used to keep in touch with email updates. If you do not wish to be contacted by us again please send us an email and we will unsubscribe you from the email list.
Protection of Design & Copyrights
Unless otherwise noted, all designs, including images, photographs, illustrations, video clips, and written materials that appear as part of our website are copyrights, trademarks and/or other intellectual properties owned, controlled or licensed by Audio Housing.
We will always do our best to fulfil our obligations to our customers. In the event of certain circumstances beyond our control or “force majeure”, such as declaration of war or state of emergency, terror, a disease epidemic, or natural disaster, however, we might not be able to fulfil our agreement as promised. This might mean cancelation of your order or delay in delivery and will be communicated and handled to the best of our ability.
